Empowered Wellness Counseling

Offering safe, inclusive, and secure psychotherapy for adults who want to resolve past trauma or attachment-related issues, so that they may improve their relationship with self and others.

Asking for help is very difficult for most people. Seeking help for your mental health can be even more so. There’s no denying the stigma that surrounds mental health, which is largely due to the fact that others can’t see the pain we feel. The thing is, if what you felt on the inside were visible on the outside, the stigma would disappear and mental health would be treated as any physical ailment.

I strive to offer care that is inclusive and welcoming. I believe you. I also believe in your ability to do the work to heal. I view therapy as a collaborative process in which you are the expert on your own life. You are human, and humans need support - sometimes more often than we’d like to admit. I am honored to be able to be someone who can have a small part in your healing journey.

Serving the state of Washington

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LF61194481) in Washington,* credentialed by the state’s Department of Health. So whether you’re in my home base of the Spokane area, in the metro area of Seattle, or in a small, rural community, I am here to support you.

All sessions are done via video conferencing. By using a HIPAA-compliant telehealth and electronic health record (EHR) platform, you can feel confident knowing your information and sessions are confidential.

*Please note that if you do not live in Washington, or if you move out of state during the course of treatment, I am not able to treat you.

“The way is full of genuine sacrifice.

The thickets blocking the path are anything

that keeps you from that, any fear

that you may be broken to bits like a glass bottle.

This road demands courage and stamina,

yet it’s full of footprints! Who are

these companions? They are rungs

in your ladder. Use them!

With company you quicken your ascent.

You may be happy enough going along,

but with others you’ll get farther, and faster.”
